We all know by now that what you see on people's social media accounts is the highlights reel of their life...and the same goes for businesses. What you see on the savadyblog Instagram are planned and curated images to tell the story of savadyblog, the brand.
I think it is equally important to share real life things too. So here are photos I snapped on a Saturday afternoon at the studio when it was just me working there. I didn't clean anything, I didn't move anything. Nothing was styled or propped. It was photographed exactly as is.
You can see on my desk a plastic container that had contained my Greek salad for lunch, yesterday. My cup of Starbucks coffee that was also from yesterday. Because the studio is filled with beautiful things, when things get messy, I don't mind so much. It's a beautiful mess, can't be mad about that!
There are chairs and tables in random places because when we're shooting product photos, we use several surfaces to shoot items on. Our office is also dog friendly, so sometimes there are dog toys lying around. There are usually plates with crumbs leftover from a pastry... we clean them by the end of the day, unless it's just me... then I get to it the next day usually. Sometimes I'm bad about watering the plants in the studio. But fortunately, I have a proclivity for dried plants, flowers, and plants that generally look more forlorn. I don't know why... is this depressing? LOL.
