This is the first year that they have held an apple fest and the family hopes to make it a yearly event. Part of what makes the day so special is that the Waddell family decided to raise money for the United Way.
Anybody looking for a cure for the munchies could enjoy some hot buttered corn on the cob, dried apple slices, mini apple cinnamon melts, apple cider or an apple straight off the tree.
